Welcome to Jolt Blog's personal web page. Jolt Blog is a blog software that is extremely small and easy to use. It comes equipped with an administrator control panel that anybody who has no experience in blogging can use. It takes little to no skill to use.

It's only 385 KB, which is a really small file. With a not so fast internet, you can still download it in about a minute flat. It comes with equipped themes which will fit any bloggers requirements.

You're able to easily add or edit posts, add new pages and even edit current pages you have. You are capable of adding new administrators or moderators. If users would like they are able to comment on your posts, with a few clicks. It's easy to change your database settings if you were to ever need to change them. It's an all around easy to use blogging software.

Another great thing about this blog software, it is completely free, and is open-source. When downloading the small file you get the source code and you can modify it to your likes completely.

July 29th, 2010 - Added new theme "coverage".

July 12th, 2010 - Released Jolt Blog 1.6!

June 25th, 2010 - Added new theme "substantial" and documentation is now online.

June 15th, 2010 - Documentation will be finished tomorrow and will be released. So users can have an easy to read documentation.

January 1st, 2010 - Jolt Blog 1.5.1 released with small errors, and fixed editor with editing pages and content. It's all fixed, download it on Downloads page.

September 21st, 2009 - Jolt Blog 1.5 has been released on September 21st, 2009. It is available for download, here. It introduces 3 more templates, that were created by Jolt Blog Templates, the official theme creator of Jolt Blog. It also has a new post mechanism and a new text editor for easy posting, it no longer requires HTML knowledge to make posts.

Credits

Jolt Blog was developed by a 14 year old programmer located in the United States... in the state of Pennsylvania. He began developments in early August of 2009. The beta version of Jolt Blog was released on August 8th, 2009. The first official release of Jolt Blog 1.2 (1.0 was never released due to security risks) was released on August 15th, 2009. A few days later, Jolt Blog 1.4 was officially released. As of September 21st, 2009 Jolt Blog 1.5 was released. Read the news above for more information.
